Faces of Stewardship: The Heartbeat of St. Matthew

God is just as present in the mundane and ordinary as he in the extraordinary and significant events in our lives. Our lives, and the life of the church, are truly a series of mountains and valleys.  We are bound to have some really good times and some times that we feel like nothing is going right.  

We’ve definitely experienced a series of highs and lows over the last seven decades of St Matthew. The visual of peaks and valleys looks quite similar to that of a heartbeat with the constant up and down movement. And that’s truly how life is. We go through different seasons of life: some easy, some hard.  But God is with us each and every day.  

There’s no denying that the people of St. Matthew are the heartbeat of the church and the community.  And that is why we chose the theme of “Faces of Stewardship” to highlight the people who are directly affected by your generosity.
