Janice

Janice Hughey

Janice is passionate about missions, nurture, outreach, and education. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary and special education from Presbyterian College and earned her Master of Arts in Education at Furman University. She taught special education for 12 years and sixth-grade math for 21 years at Woodmont Middle School. In 2019, she received her local pastor license through the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. She is currently enrolled in the Course of Study program through the United Methodist Church at Candler School of Theology at Emory.

Janice has two adult children, Lindsey and Austin, and two precious grandchildren, Wade and Cecelia. Her favorite pastime is playing with my grandchildren. Janice also enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, walking, hiking, and getting lost in a good novel.
